So we have ordered pizza and stromboli from Giovannis..the first time it was fabulous..cheese on pizza a slides all over the place and crust wasn't to rave about but overall a good experience especially for late night options since they are open late. So we give it another try and order a third time..this time we get the steak n cheese stromboli and choc cake with gorganzola salad..stromboli was excellent..choc cake was extremely dry and stale..we took one bite and tossed it..it tasted as if it had been left out for days and they just poured hot choc sauce on top to fool us..great disappointment..salad was good... So we order a third time bc my boyfriend is falling in love with the stromboli..same steak n cheese bit...but to our dismay its completely different the strak is in cubes and seasoned completely different..he was hungry so that was that.. The fourth and final time we ordered which was last week..we order the same steak and cheese stromboli..once again its different..now the streak is like lunch meat..weird I know..now for the disgusting part..A HAIR..baked right into the end of the stromboli..we called complained and to be honest they really didnt care..actually could care less..it was like "ohhh yeahh oh".. Basically this place is a no go for us at this point..its obvious there is no quality control..and absolutely no consistency when it comes to the preparation of their food.. Its so bizarre..and so sad because they have potential.. However that simply isnt enough to keep loyal customers.. Im only giving it 2 stars because the delivery driver is so polite and cordial.. Ps garlic rolls suck and are dry..cooked carelessly with no passion..and the presentation was awful various shapes and sizes of cooked dough..weird i know..I know.

Dear Boca Raton and Palm Beach yelpers why now after three years of living here am I only finding out about this this place!!?? It is amazing!!! the pizza is delicious I feel like I was transported from powerline Road to Chicago. I order the garlic knots a small cheese pizza and a meat lovers deep dish the cheese pizza was okay the only thing I'm not that crazy about it the place is there her use of cheese it's not high-quality cheese it gets the job done but it's really elastic and kind of salty and tasteless however their sauce the use of meats and their ability to make a deep dish is out of this world we warned you will have to order about 30 to 45 minutes before you plan on eating much like the pizzerias in Chicago good pizza takes time, love and care to make.

Beware of the 39 dollar PIZZA. I ordered half Veggie and half meat and was charged full veggie and full meat . This is a case of two halves equal 2 wholes.. Ask for a price before you order is placed . Don't leave your pepperoni exposed.

Had the meat lovers and chicken pesto, both were good but way too salty and definitely not worth $56!!! Plus, they were not very helpful on the phone and gave me attitude. Will be taking my business elsewhere.

One of the best Chicago style pizzas I have ever had. It is way cheaper than paying to have a pie shipped down to you.

Giovanni's is expensive as hell but really who cares - its effing delicious. Best (and to my knowledge only) Chicago-style pizza in South Florida. Pleasant, family-owned spot.

One of the few places in Boca Raton that makes an excellent pizza. I am not a fan of the charred coal fire style so this place is perfect for me. They also make a deep dish that rivals true Chicago style pizza. The owners are very nice and take care of you like family when you dine in. This restaurant is a permanent part of our dining rotation.

Last night (like most summer nights) we found ourselves hungry - craving pizza - and heading out to eat it around a quarter to ten. The places we knew and were familiar with had either already closed or were closing. What is wrong with this town? And what do they have against us late eaters? Well, last night was fortuitous- because we discovered Giovanni's. The establishment has been there for about 4 years at the time I am writing this and the owner greeted us as we walked in. We were the only ones there- it was Wednesday night after 10 pm. He asked us how we liked our pizza cooked- I have never been asked that- I am accustomed to it being made and flopped in front of me with a "there-eat it" attitude. He put on a movie for us- and we felt like it was our private pizza place. The pizza was amazing and he continually asked us if we needed anything. We were quite content. The place is small by Boca restaurant standards- but it is nicely decorated and there is the big tv... They serve canned and bottled soft drinks- no alcohol- but we were told we could bring our own if we wanted. The menu has a nice selection of other Italian fare which I imagine would be also good- if the pizza is any indication of it's quality. Giovanni's does mostly take-out and delivery- but they are open until midnight and seem to enjoy late eater's company. I give this place 5 stars because for what they do, they do well.

I had high hopes for Giovanni's Pizzeria. I have ordered delivery a few times now and I am not really impressed. The first time was a cheese pizza with mushrooms and a cheese calzone. The pizza was good but not great. The calzone was pretty good but the marinara sauce to dip was very acidic. On my recent delivery order I just had to try their "stuffed pizza" or Chicago style pizza. I got a medium "Special" and it included sausage, peppers, and onions. The price was pretty high for a medium pizza $36!! I convinced myself it would be delicious and worth every penny but I was sadly mistaken. It looked great although it seemed more like the size of a small not a medium pizza - strike 1. Strike 2 came when I opened and tasted the calamari that I ordered. It was not even warm and the calamari was rubbery. This was a real bummer especially after paying $12.99 for it!! When I finally dove into the pizza it was just underwhelming. It didn't taste bad but it wasn't great and it sure wasn't worth all the money I paid for it. STRIKE 3....you're OUT! I will say it was loaded with toppings, I will give them that but overall the food is just really overpriced Italian.

I've heard great reviews about Giovanni's and I'm sad to say I can't even review the quality of the pizza since they flat out said they didn't feel like delivering. This horrible customer service will prevent me from even considering trying their pizza.

Pizza here is really good, tried the stuffed pizza for the first time and it was awesome! I have ordered the chicken parm in the past and it's also delish, easily feeds two!

Pick up review. Place is in a very wierd and narrow strip center on Powerline Road. Next to a Dunkin Doughnuts. Small inside. Would not want to dine in. No beer or wine. Pizza was delicious. Generous amount of shrooms and cheese. Nice crust.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
